UK Coverage

UK mainland coverage. Honestly explained.

We work across the whole of England, Scotland and Wales — 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Here's exactly where our 590 operatives are based, what response times look like by region, and the edge cases we won't pretend cover.

The map

Where the response works — and where it doesn't.

Full coverage

  • England — all 9 regions
  • Scotland — Lowlands, Highlands, Islands
  • Wales — North, Mid, South
  • All road types — motorway, A, B, residential
  • Urban + rural + remote
  • 24 hours · 365 days

Not covered

  • Northern Ireland
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Mainland Europe — no cross-channel response
  • Channel Islands and Isle of Man
  • Vehicles already declared stolen before activation
  • Motorcycles (a dedicated product is in development)

The device will continue to report position from anywhere with cellular signal — but our monitoring centre cannot coordinate recovery outside the UK mainland.

Response by region

How fast we get to your vehicle.

Operative response times — the time from "vehicle confirmed stolen" to "operative on scene". Based on actual incident data from the last twelve months.

~25 min

Urban areas

London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool. Highest operative density — typically two or more operatives within close range.

~45 min

Towns + suburbs

Most UK towns, suburban areas and minor cities. Operatives based in the regional hub coordinate with police on arrival.

60–90 min

Rural + remote

Highlands, North Wales, North Yorkshire, Cornwall, rural Devon. Longer drive distances but the device keeps reporting live — the vehicle is rarely lost.

The 590

How the recovery network is structured.

We don't employ 590 people directly. We work with a vetted network of regional recovery partners — each contracted, insured, DBS-checked, and connected to our central monitoring console.

EN England ~410 operatives across 9 regions
SC Scotland ~95 operatives, Central Belt concentrated
CY Wales ~55 operatives across North + South
HQ Monitoring centre ~30 operators on rotating shifts
The grey areas

Specific edge cases, answered.

My vehicle is stolen and driven onto a ferry to Northern Ireland — what happens?

The device will continue to report position throughout the crossing (ferries have decent cellular coverage). Once on NI soil, our recovery network cannot dispatch — we hand over the live track to PSNI directly with all incident metadata. Around 70% of vehicles that cross are still recovered by police using our data.

What if it's driven onto the Channel Tunnel?

Same scenario — we can't dispatch operatives in France, but we maintain the live track and pass it to local Gendarmerie via Interpol channels. Cross-channel theft is rare for cars under £100k.

Do you cover the Isle of Wight?

Yes — the Isle of Wight is part of mainland coverage. Operatives travel by ferry from the nearest mainland hub.

What about offshore islands like the Hebrides, Shetland, Orkney?

Yes, with the same caveat as remote rural — response is longer because the operatives travel from the Highlands. The device keeps reporting throughout.

My vehicle is parked at an airport long-stay car park while I'm abroad — am I still covered?

Yes. The monitoring continues uninterrupted while you're away. Set "long stay mode" in the app and we'll only alert on tamper / ignition events, not on normal long-term stationary signals.
